S Ajith Ram, a spinner for Tamil Nadu who has taken 36 wickets in the competition so far, was a major factor in the team’s advancement to the final eight.

It feels fantastic, and I’m eager to play in the quarterfinals. As a team, we participated and made it to the knockout stages. All of us are in a positive state of mind, Ajith Ram said.

Sai Kishore has found the ideal counterpoint in Ajith Ram. Ajith’s bowling has improved greatly since he has been with his captain and senior opponent. The team atmosphere is excellent, as I have said. I’m glad to support the team’s endeavors. Furthermore, it makes you feel really good and motivates you to work even harder for the team when you realize that your efforts have also assisted in moving the group to the next level, according to Ajith Ram.

Cheteshwar Pujara, who recently competed in the TNCA First Division tournament in Chennai, is well-versed in the Tamil Nadu assault, therefore Saurashtra would be looking to him to produce a huge score.

Being able to bowl against Pujara will undoubtedly be difficult, but I’m eager to do it. I like taking on challenges, and I know that if I succeed, it will further my bowling career and let me to profit financially from the experience. According to Ajith Ram, “I think it will be a good learning experience.”

Pujara usually plays a cautious first few innings before having a strong performance in his 30s. Is he the subject of any particular plans? “Any batter who settles down will get some big runs scored,” Without a doubt, we’ll want to bowl in the appropriate spots and upset hitters early. For Pujara, it won’t be any different. That being said, it’s a team game, therefore all of our bowlers will work together to limit Saurashtra collectively rather than concentrating on any one player, he added.

The squad seems to be gelling as a unit under Sai Kishore’s leadership, with each player understanding their own responsibilities. Without a doubt, Sai Kishore is inspiring everyone and doing a fantastic job. Ajith Ram said, “He has been a huge motivating force when we are in a tricky situation because of the way he handles the players, talks at team meetings, and so on.”

When it counted most, TN hitters were able to pick up the pace and make a contribution. B Indrajith and Vijay Shankar performed well against Punjab. Pradosh Ranjan Paul performed well in a previous league round match.

As I said before, our team is playing as a unit, and our hitters are supporting one another and playing as a unit as well. We were close to winning the match against Karnataka in Chennai. Each of us felt proud of our pursuit. We shall also give it our all against Saurashtra,” concluded Ajith Ram.
