Championing personal transformation, shared responsibility and a more conscious approach to shaping the next generation.

Neera Paritosh, an educator, life coach, author and transformational guide, recently took the TEDx stage at Shri Vishwakarma Skill University (SVSU), sharing a thought-provoking message on conscious parenting and society’s role in shaping future generations. With 34 years of experience in education, she continues to inspire individuals to transform their mindsets, develop self-awareness and build healthier relationships.

Her TEDx message centred on an important question: Who is responsible for shaping the values and behaviour of our next generation? Moving beyond conventional parenting, Neera emphasised that this responsibility extends beyond biological parents to teachers, siblings, relatives, friends and society at large. Everyone who influences a child contributes to their understanding of the world.

From Education to Life Coaching

Holding an M.Com and an M.Ed, Neera began her teaching career in 1992 and has dedicated 34 years to teaching Business Studies and Accountancy. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, she expanded her professional journey by pursuing life coaching courses through GuniGuru in Ahmedabad and under Puja Puneet in Chennai. She also completed approximately 47–48 additional courses in spirituality, numerology, healing and related fields.

Rethinking Conscious Parenting

Drawing on real-life situations, Neera’s TEDx script examines the gap between what adults expect from young people and the behaviour they demonstrate themselves. Through incidents involving disrespectful behaviour, professional responsibility and family dynamics, she raises important questions about emotional maturity, accountability and the values being nurtured in society.

Her message is clear: children learn not only from what adults teach them but also from what they observe. If we want the next generation to be respectful, responsible and emotionally mature, we must begin by examining our own behaviour. Conscious parenting, therefore, begins with self-awareness and personal transformation.

Author, Content Creator and Podcaster

In 2024, Neera authored two books, Ripple of Words and Parenting the Parent. Her work explores the influence of words, thoughts and adult behaviour on personal development and family relationships.

Her signature programme, “Better You, Better Child,” is a 15-day programme designed to encourage self-reflection and transformation. Through parentingtheparenting.com, she also offers the audio-video version of Ripple of Words in English and Hindi.

Since September 2024, Neera has created 270 Instagram recordings covering different aspects of life, personal growth and relationships. Her YouTube channel, Transformative Neera, features long-form videos, Shorts, podcasts and the series Upbringing – Part 1 and Upbringing – Part 2. She has also completed 16 podcasts to date, available on YouTube, engaging in conversations about education, motivation, personal development and transformational practices.

Recognition and a Vision for Change

Neera’s achievements include the second runner-up position in the Curvy category at VG Miss & Mrs India 2025, along with the subtitle “She Who Dares.” Her other recognitions include Rashtriya Ratna Samman, Nari Shakti Award, the National Award for Excellence in Life Coaching and Parenting, and the Global Divas Glory Awards 2026 in the Spiritual & Holistic Healing category.

Her journey has also received media attention through features associated with Forbes (digital), Femina, The Times of India and several magazines, including Leadership, Live Wabi-Sabi and She Splash.

Through education, authorship, coaching and her TEDx appearance at SVSU, Neera continues to champion a powerful belief: a better society begins with better individuals. Her work encourages adults to take responsibility for their influence on young minds and build a future grounded in empathy, respect and conscious living.
